Data We Process

• Uploads: resumes and job descriptions you submit for analysis. We keep the extracted text of each resume (not the original file) so you can read it next to its analysis.
• Service logs: IP, user-agent, timestamps, error logs (short retention).
• Usage metrics: anonymized events (e.g., button clicks) to improve UX.

How We Use Data

• Provide resume–JD matching and related features you request.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
• Improve product reliability and usability via aggregated metrics.

Storage & Retention

• Resume text: the extracted text of an uploaded resume is stored for 90 days so it can be viewed alongside the analysis, then deleted automatically. It is deleted immediately when you remove the candidate or the job, or delete your account.
• Analysis results: rankings, requirement checks, strengths and concerns stay with the job until you delete the job or your account.
• Original files: uploaded PDF, Word and text files are processed in-session and not kept.
• No model training: your uploads and results are never used to train AI models.
• Minimal logs kept briefly for security/diagnostics, then deleted.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Limited processors (hosting/analytics) may handle data under contractual safeguards and only for the purposes above.

Security

Transport is encrypted (HTTPS). Access is restricted to essential processing.

Your Rights

• Request deletion of logs tied to your account/email.
• Request a copy/correction of personal data we hold about you.

Cookies & Analytics

We may use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics (e.g., Plausible). No marketing pixels that track across sites. You can block analytics cookies in your browser.
