Frequently Asked Questions
Credits, billing, sharing and saving reports, how scoring works, privacy, and supported resume formats.
What does SwiftLynx do?
SwiftLynx matches resumes to your job description using multi-layer AI analysis. Upload PDFs, Word docs, or TXT resumes — get ranked candidates with match scores, trust checks, evidence-backed insights, and one-click PDF reports.
Do I need an account?
Yes. Sign in to run analysis, save results, share links, download PDF reports, and purchase credits.
What can I do when signed in?
When signed in, analyses are saved, you can share links, download PDFs, and manage credits and invoices.
How do credits work?
Credits are pay-as-you-go. 1 credit = 1 resume analysis for each uploaded resume against the current job description.
Do credits expire? Is there a subscription?
No subscription. Credits never expire and can be used anytime.
Where can I see invoices or update my card?
Go to Account → Invoices to download PDFs. Use Manage billing to open the Stripe portal and update your payment method.
I paid but credits didn’t show up. What should I do?
Credits usually appear within seconds. If not, refresh the Account page. Still missing? Contact us with your email and the invoice number—we’ll fix it quickly.
Are results saved automatically?
When you’re signed in, each analysis is automatically saved under Saved reports.
How can I share analysis results with my team or clients?
Two ways: 1) Share analysis links for online viewing (recipients see results instantly without logging in), or 2) Download PDF reports to email or attach to messages. Both work great for teams and clients.
Can I download PDF reports to email or print?
Yes. Click "Download PDF" to get a clean, professional report perfect for emailing to clients or printing for meetings.
Does SwiftLynx provide resume–job match visualizations?
Yes. Each candidate gets a detailed breakdown: Match score, Trust score, and (for top candidates) a Deep Audit score, along with visual strengths, concerns, and interview preparation points. Export everything as a one-click PDF report with score formulas included.
Can I compare many resumes to one job posting?
Absolutely. Upload multiple resume files, then review side-by-side scores and visuals to shortlist quickly.
How does the scoring system work?
Each candidate receives up to three scores: Match — how well skills, experience, and background align with your job description (AI analysis). Trust — resume authenticity and consistency; evaluated using consistent, rules-based checks — no AI. Deep Audit — in-depth review only for top candidates (Match ≥ 75 and Trust ≥ 60). The Final Score combines these using a transparent formula shown on every report.
Why do some candidates show a Deep Audit score and others don't?
Deep Audit only runs when a candidate scores high enough (Match ≥ 75 and Trust ≥ 60). Candidates below these thresholds are scored using Match and Trust only. This keeps analysis focused and cost-efficient.
What does the Evidence button next to strengths and concerns mean?
It means that line is backed by an excerpt from the resume. Click or tap Evidence to see the exact quote and source section so you can verify the analysis against the resume.
What does 'Verify in Interview' mean?
For candidates who advance, SwiftLynx generates 2–3 specific interview talking points based on areas the analysis couldn't fully confirm from the resume. These are ready-made questions to help interviewers dig into the right topics.
What happens when a candidate scores very low?
Candidates with a very low Match score are automatically marked as "No · Reject" with a brief explanation. They skip Trust and Deep Audit entirely, saving processing time and keeping your report focused on viable candidates.
Can I adjust the scoring weights or thresholds?
Not currently. The formula and thresholds are calibrated for consistent results. Use the "Must Have" and "Nice to Have" fields when setting up a job — these are the best way to tell SwiftLynx what matters most for your role.
Matching looks off—how can I improve results?
Use a clear, detailed job description — the more specific your requirements, the better the match. Fill in the "Must Have" field for non-negotiable skills (candidates missing these are penalized more heavily). Remove watermarks or headers from PDFs if parsing fails. If an issue persists, contact us with the file (sanitized) and we'll take a look.
Is my data secure?
Your data security is a priority. We never sell, share, or use your files for AI model training. Analysis results and supporting evidence excerpts are stored securely so you can revisit and collaborate. Resume files are processed for analysis and are not retained beyond what's needed for your saved reports. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
What formats are supported?
We support PDF, Word documents (DOCX/DOC), and plain-text (.txt).
